Once home, I began to get my freezer stocked up with healthy vegan meals. The first thing I did was take an entire loaf of bread and make peanut butter and jelly sandwhiches and put them all in the freezer. It will really save me time and clean up if I just need to pull a sandwhich out of the freezer and fry it up in some coconut oil. YUM! Then I took all the bags of frozen fruits and spinach in my freezer and made Smoothie Bags! Each bag had something different, but what I used was bananas, mango, strawberry, cranberry, blackberry, raspberry and blueberry....and of course some frozen spinach! Gotta have those greens! Best part is, you don't even taste the spinach in green smoothies. Green smoothies always fill us up and make us feel energized and healthy-not heavy and bloated. I also started up a batch of carrots to be cooked and blended into baby food for Davin! I got that done, in a container and labeled and into the freezer. And then it was time to go to Dance class!
Of course that involved getting to dance class...and when your 3 year old decided she's no longer interested in dance class, that can be like swimming the Nile in a snowsuit. lol The week before, she started expressing that she wasn't interested in her dance class and that she'd rather go play at the park or go to the library. Well, mommy insisted because darn it I want to see her in dance like I did as a child!!! So I convinced her to try it again today. She cooperated as best she could, poor thing. She sat with the group and stretched a bit but she just didn't want to be apart of the class anymore. I finally pulled her aside and firmly told her that if she really didn't want to do dance anymore, I wouldn't make her. But that by dropping out, she wouldn't be coming anymore with her cousin Pierce. She was still totally on board with leaving, so that's what we did. She said goodbye to everyone and she left HAPPY-which was the point of it all. As much as *I* wanted to see her in dance class right now, *She* wasn't happy any longer being apart of it. So alas, we will wait to reintroduce dance for another 6 month, year, or just whenever she's interested in trying it out again! I'm just here to facilitate the hunger to learn in these amazing little children, not shove and force information or teachings down their throats when they aren't open to absorbing them. If a child is not willing and wanting to learn, he will not....
After we left the dance studio, Jaden kept asking me "mommy can we PLEASE go to the park? Please please please?". So I took her to a park that she's never played at before, one that has an AWESOME hiking trail. (Although we had no intentions of hiking) I hung out in the van for awhile, nursing the Nader and watching Jaden enjoy FREE PLAY amidst nature...It really was calming to watch. The rain, cold, mud puddles, and slippery playground didn't phaze her. She was almost in her own little world, running around, singing, mumbling to herself, and soaking up everything around her. I love to watch her little imagination run wild. The things she says to me daily, make me laugh and intrigued. Being outdoors is such a great way for a child to learn! And to appreciate and understand God's creation. I should be taking more time to sit down and relate scripture to the things around us in our daily lives, with Jaden. hmmmmm....(mentally taking notes and making goals..)

Oh my gosh what adorable pictures!
Those were great pictures! I remember when went to dance you actually ended up hating it too. The lady who taught was absolutely militant! You were much happier running around outside. I let you quit too :-)
